Olga S.
(Founder & Practitioner)
Originally from Russia, Olga S. brings 12 years of hands-on massage experience to her work. That experience spans prior practice in Russia, supervised clinical training, volunteer massage at marathons and community events, and professional practice in New York. She graduated from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in 2017 and is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist.
Her Russian roots gave her an early respect for resilience, discipline, and work done without spectacle. That grounding remains central to her approach: practical, attentive, and closely connected to movement, nature, and the body’s own pace.
Alongside massage therapy, Olga completed a yoga teaching certification and spent periods living, studying, and practicing meditation in yogic ashrams and Buddhist monasteries. Her education also included Kung Fu and Tai Chi practice in the mountains of South America with teachers and masters whose work joined physical discipline with awareness.
Olga believes accomplished bodywork begins with the practitioner’s own integration. Mind, hands, breath, posture, and the whole moving body must work as one. Massage is a kind of dance: pressure is carried through balance, weight transfer, mobility, and timing rather than force alone. Her continuing practice of yoga, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, and meditation keeps that instrument strong, supple, coordinated, and attentive.
These traditions do not replace her clinical training. They deepen the patience, observation, breath awareness, and quality of presence she brings to each session—allowing technique to remain precise while the work stays responsive to the individual in front of her.
