Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to rasphera.com and the forms and booking tools made available through the site. RA SPHERA is a New York–based licensed massage therapy practice offering private sessions, groups, workshops, retreats, educational material, and destination services.
A practitioner-client relationship is not created merely by visiting the website or sending an inquiry. Information collected as part of an actual client intake or treatment record may also be subject to professional confidentiality and recordkeeping duties that are separate from this website policy.
02
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and limited technical information generated when the site is used.
- Contact and identity information, including your name, email address, phone number, and the subject and contents of an inquiry.
- Booking and service information, including the requested service, date and time, neighborhood, service address, building-access instructions, pet information, and the quoted session price.
- Session-preference and safety information you submit during booking, such as areas of tension, preferred pressure, and injuries or conditions to work around.
- Gift information, including sender and recipient names, email addresses, delivery details, and a personal note.
- Technical and usage information that may include IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and interactions measured through tags or similar technologies.
- Communications and records created when we respond to you, arrange a session, document consent, or maintain an appropriate professional record.
03
The client-intake demo
The client-intake questionnaire currently available on the site is an interactive demonstration. Answers remain in the browser tab, are not transmitted to RA SPHERA, and are cleared when the page is refreshed or closed. Printing or saving a PDF creates a file on your own device under your control.
The live intake and informed-consent form is provided separately through Booksy after booking and is required before a client's first appointment. Please do not send detailed medical records, Social Security numbers, complete payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the general contact form.
04
How we use information
We use personal information only for legitimate practice and website purposes.
- To answer inquiries and discuss services, groups, workshops, packages, guides, travel, or journal submissions.
- To provide availability, arrange and administer bookings, prevent double-booking, confirm service-area eligibility and prices, and communicate about an appointment or gift.
- To adapt massage pressure, positioning, products, pacing, and safety screening to the information a client provides.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website; understand which pages and services are useful; and measure booking activity.
- To maintain business and professional records, enforce agreements, prevent misuse or fraud, comply with law, and protect clients, practitioners, and the public.
05
Service providers and disclosures
RA SPHERA does not sell personal information. We do not knowingly disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be provided to vendors only when reasonably necessary for them to perform services for the practice, subject to their own contractual and legal duties.
- Vercel provides website hosting, delivery, security, and operational logs.
- Supabase provides database infrastructure for contact submissions and related website records. Booksy—not the unfinished native booking tables—is the public scheduling system while this integration is active.
- Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and interactions such as page views, scrolling, outbound links, and successful contact inquiries. Google Analytics may receive device, browser, network, approximate-location, referring-page, and interaction information. RA SPHERA does not send contact-form contents, names, email addresses, or other direct identifiers through its analytics events.
- YouTube supplies privacy-enhanced embedded videos. YouTube may receive device, network, and interaction information when a video is loaded or played.
- Booksy provides the embedded booking calendar, appointment administration, reminders, and related booking tools. Information entered into the Booksy calendar is sent directly to Booksy and may include contact details, service and scheduling choices, service address, intake responses, and payment-related information.
- Booksy and its payment providers—not RA SPHERA's website—handle complete payment-card credentials entered during their booking or payment process. RA SPHERA may receive booking, transaction, payment-status, and limited card information needed to administer appointments, cancellations, refunds, support, and business records.
- Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process, professional regulation, or a good-faith need to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.
07
Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an inquiry, administering a booking, maintaining appropriate client and financial records, resolving disputes, meeting professional or legal obligations, and protecting the practice. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived where deletion is not immediately practical. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten through normal operations.
08
Security and confidentiality
RA SPHERA uses reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. Contact submissions and booking records are not intended to be publicly readable. Access is limited to the practice and service providers that need it for an authorized purpose.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please use the contact form for ordinary inquiries and wait for an appropriate secure process before sharing extensive health records or highly sensitive information.
09
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may be entitled to ask whether we hold personal information about you and to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Some requests may be limited by professional recordkeeping, transaction, safety, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligations.
To make a privacy request, use the Contact page and choose General question. Describe the request and the information involved. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may also contact the relevant privacy or consumer-protection authority where the law provides that right.
10
International visitors
RA SPHERA is based in the United States. If you access the site from another country, information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your country.
11
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. A parent or legal guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided information through the site.
12
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the website, booking system, vendors, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented appropriately on the site.
For a privacy question or request, use the Contact page. RA SPHERA intentionally does not publish its direct email address or telephone number on the public website.
